Data Deletion

In short: the Culture Quickies app only connects to Culture Quickies’ own social media accounts. It does not collect data about anyone who watches or interacts with our videos, so in most cases we hold nothing about you to delete. If you want us to check, or you have emailed us and want that deleted, just ask.

How to request deletion

Email [email protected] with the subject line “Data deletion request”. Include the platform and username or email address the request concerns so we can find any matching records.

We will search our records, including email correspondence and anything stored by our publishing tool, and delete anything relating to you within 30 days. We will then email you to confirm. If we find nothing, we will tell you that too.

Removing app access from your account

Only Culture Quickies’ own accounts are connected to our app. If you ever did connect an account and want to remove access, you can do so at any time from the platform’s settings:

Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites → select Culture Quickies → Remove.
Instagram: Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites → select Culture Quickies → Remove.
TikTok: Settings and privacy → Security → Manage app permissions → select Culture Quickies → Remove access.
YouTube / Google: visit the Google security settings page, select Culture Quickies, then remove access.
X: Settings and privacy → Security and account access → Apps and sessions → Connected apps → select Culture Quickies → Revoke app permissions.

When access is removed, the platform invalidates the credentials it issued to us, and we delete any stored credentials for that account.

Data held by the platforms

Comments, likes, follows and other activity on our videos are stored by TikTok, YouTube, Meta and X, not by Culture Quickies. To delete them, use the platform’s own tools or contact the platform directly. You can delete your own comments at any time, and you can ask us to remove a comment from one of our posts.
